Here’s a quick recap of some of the amazing stationery designs you can pick up as part of the Keep Sketch Notebooks project on Fund it! The first three images are notebook cover designs by Fuchsia Macaree, Dave Comiskey and Ross Henderson, respectively. You can also see a detail and a preview image of Mark Crawford’s wonderful screen-printed tote-bag design, as well as Philip Kennedy’s beautifully minimal, hand-drawn-type Keep Sketch badge. These wonderful things will will only go into production if we reach our Fund it target in 2 days time. Thanks so much to everyone who has supported the project so far; it means a lot to us. … and now for something completely different! We’re very happy to share our third Keep Sketch notebook cover design with you; this time from the mighty Ross Henderson. Ross cut his teeth in the world of graffiti, but also went on to study furniture design in DIT, and both practices continue to inform the work he does. He is an amazing draftsman, often working solely with black ink on paper. We felt that his work suited Keep Sketch down to a tee, and are delighted to have him in our ranks. To secure one of Ross’ notebooks, be sure to check out the Keep Sketch Notebooks project on Fund it!

Check out these beautifully minimal Keep Sketch badges that Philip Kennedy designed for us! Produced by our friends at the Busy Beaver Button Co. in Chicago, and rendered in Philip’s own lovely hand-drawn type, each badge is an understated gem that’s perfect for sticking on your favourite t-shirt, or for covering a hole in a well-warn jumper this Autumn. As well as being a regular contributor to The Fox is Black, Philip is a fantastic designer with and incredible eye, so be sure to check out his portfolio here. Every pledger in our Fund it project will get one of these badges in their reward pack. There are loads of other great rewards, so be sure to check out out. Cheers Philip!
Have you see our video yet? The song is by the wonderful Tieranniesaur. More info on our project here!
Delighted to post a beautiful illustration by our good friend Mark Crawford that will be screen-printed onto tote-bags by Tom at the wonderful Killer Screen Print in Galway. The bag will be available exclusively to pledgers in our Fund it project, so if you want to secure one, check out our project page. Everyone secretly wants a disembodied pirate bear on their bag.
We’re super-excited to post Dave Comiskey’s awesome Keep Sketch Notebook cover design! Dave is an old friend of ours, and we’re huge fans of his work, so we couldn’t be happier to see him collaborate with us on this project. To get hold of one of Dave’s notebooks, and to find out more about the Keep Sketch project, check out our Fund it project page.
Delighted to post the cover design for the first our of four Keep Sketch Notebooks, as illustrated by the awesome Fuchsia Macaree! She based her cover on the neighbourhood of Gowanus in Brooklyn, NY where she is living and working for the summer. “It’s full of overpasses and water towers and old factories and scrap yards and warehouses (and that’s my house and next door in the bottom right corner).” We’re huge fans of Fuchsia’s work, and very happy to have her on board the project with such a great piece of work.
